Notice about Revised Rules for the UK Supreme Court

The UK Supreme Court recently held an open consultation on revising its Rules, which set out the procedure for legal proceedings before the Court. The consultation has now closed and a response to the consultation is available here
The revised Rules were laid before Parliament on 11 September 2024 and can be found here: The Supreme Court Rules 2024 (legislation.gov.uk). The revised Rules are expected to come into force on 2nd December 2024, together with new Practice Directions(PD). Please note that any case filed before then will be subject to the Rules of the Supreme Court 2009 and the current PDs for the life of the case.
