Partnering with AccessAble to make the Supreme Court more accessible
The Supreme Court has partnered with AccessAble; the UK's leading provider of detailed disabled access information to create a Detailed Access Guide.
The Guide is made up of facts, figures, and photographs to help visitors plan their visit to the Supreme Court covering everything from lifts and hearing loops, to walking distances and accessible toilets.
We know everyone's accessibility needs are different, so having detailed, accurate information is very important. All the details you'll find in the Guide have been checked in person, on site, by trained surveyors, to make sure that visitors have a clear picture of the Supreme Court's facilities and services.
Vicky Fox, Chief Executive Officer of the UKSC, said: "Accessibility and transparency are at the heart of the way the Supreme Court works. The Court is a place for all UK citizens and overseas visitors to visit, learn about and observe how we administer justice and uphold the rule of law.
